Anugrah Cottage Homestay at Takdha near to Tinchuley and Lamahatta is a wonder homestay nestled in the cosy lap of the idyllic Himalayan village, a simple Home Stay hosted by Mr. Lalit Chettri & his family.
Anugrah Cottage Homestay came into existence in 2014 founded by Lalit Chettri. He was a driver before he started this home stay in Takdha.
The reason for him to open a homestay was, seeing the shortage of water in Darjeeling, he thought that in Takdha the water supply was surplus, so instead of tourist going to Darjeeling they could come to his village and experience the beauty of the place and also avoid water shortage problems for the guest, after all Darjeeling is 30 minutes journey for Anugrah Cottage Homestay.
The personalized care, attention and warmth that characterizes the hospitality of the host has only to be experienced first-hand to know how much this scores over the lavish decors, room service and other luxuries that typify regular hotels and resorts.
